Overview
Implement ServiceNow ITOM and the CMDB: Discovery, Service Mapping and Event Management on a CMDB built to the CSDM.
What you'll do
- Configure Discovery schedules, credentials and MID Servers
- Map business and technical services with Service Mapping
- Set up Event Management alert rules and correlation
- Design and roll out the CMDB to the CSDM, including the CI class model
- Configure identification and reconciliation rules and onboard data through Service Graph Connectors
- Run CMDB health, data certification and data-quality reporting
- Integrate monitoring tools and cloud discovery across AWS, Azure or GCP
What you bring
- ServiceNow ITOM or CMDB implementation experience
- Discovery and MID Server
- Service Mapping or Event Management
- CSDM and the Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE)
- Network, server, cloud and application infrastructure knowledge
- Scripting in JavaScript or PowerShell
- Stakeholder engagement across infrastructure, operations and service owners
