- Administer Sybase ASE
- Optimise performance and manage capacity
- Run backup and recovery
- Refresh and clone databases
- Run replication and high availability
- Support databases across environments
- Provide production and operational support
What you bring
- Hands-on SAP ASE DBA experience in enterprise estates
- SAP Replication Server or ASE HADR
- T-SQL and stored-procedure skills on ASE
- Performance tuning with query plans, statistics and dbcc
- Dump and load backup and recovery, including refresh and cloning
- Unix or Linux and shell scripting
- Production support and incident and change-management discipline
