What you'll do
- Set the target data architecture, principles and standards
- Build conceptual, logical and physical data models
- Define data taxonomy and canonical models
- Apply lakehouse and warehouse design patterns
- Design data integration and distribution
- Align with governance, lineage, quality and data protection requirements
- Record architecture decisions and design documentation and guide data engineering teams
What you bring
- Experience as a data architect on enterprise programmes
- Data modelling methods such as dimensional or Data Vault
- Modern data platform patterns
- Data integration patterns across batch, streaming and API-based distribution
- Strong documentation and stakeholder skills
- Understanding of data governance
- Strong SQL across relational and analytical databases
